Walmart Advanced Vehicle Experience Concept Truck
Walmart operates a vast wholesale and retail network with over 10,000 stores across 24 countries, generating billions in revenue. To maintain smooth operations, the company requires top-tier logistics, which led to the decision to develop its own truck. Here is the first prototype, created with the help of other companies like Peterbilt, Rous Engineering, Great Dane Trailers, and Capstone Turbine. The truck features sleek aerodynamics and a hybrid engine with electric components. While it mainly runs on diesel, it can also operate on compressed or liquefied natural gas, as well as biofuels. Additionally, the trailer is made almost entirely of carbon fiber, making it about 1.8 tons lighter.
KAMAZ JUPITER
Last year, this dump truck was unveiled at the Inner Prom Kazakhstan Industrial Exhibition. What makes it stand out? For starters, it has a 30-ton payload and no cab, as it's an unmanned model. It operates using data from various sensors, including radars, antennas, and cameras. Despite its size, the truck is highly maneuverable, with both axles able to pivot and each equipped with its own traction motor. Additionally, it features an inline 6-cylinder diesel engine, with a top speed of 56 km/h. Notably, the Jupiter 30 is the first model in its series, and we may see even more advanced versions in the future.Pininfarina Electric Transformer House
